Dr. Laurent Muzellec is an Associate Professor in Marketing and teaches marketing management, digital marketing and digital communication at executive level (e.g. Executive MBA). He is the founder and programme director of TCD MSc. in Digital Marketing Strategy. He was a product manager of an Internet Mapping application (web 1.0!) in Paris and Internet consultant at Volkswagen. Prior to Trinity Business School, he has taught in Dublin City University Business School, ESSCA school of Management (Paris), UCD Smurfit Business School. His research interests pertain to the field of corporate brand management, fictional brands and (reverse) product placement and branding strategies in interactive media and social media marketing. His articles have appeared in several international publications including Industrial Marketing Management, Marketing Theory, the Journal of Product and Brand Management and the European Journal of Marketing. His qualification includes a BA Information and Management from Napier University (UK), a MBA from Texas A&M International University and a PhD from UCD Smurfit School of Business.
Eamonn is the primary PhD researcher on the project and is an adjunct lecturer in Trinity Business School, teaching modules on the MSc in Digital Marketing Strategy. Eamonn holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology (UCD), MSc in Neuroscience (RCSI), HDip in E-Business (NCI) and an MSc in Digital Marketing (UCD). His current research interests are in the field of consumer behavior in the online environment with special reference to digital advertising.
